When it comes to crafting the perfect wedding day ensemble (or gorgeous outfit for engagement photos) we simply cannot get enough of Hushed Commotion’s gilded beauties! The way her hairpieces, earrings, belts and other delicately crafted gems add a touch of bohemian luxe are thedefinition of beauty. Her handmade designs incorporate hand-beading and fun textures for a unique twist that adds definite dimension to a bridal look!

For this collection, the designer, Thea, played around with a lot of blush hues, turquoise and shades a green. Mixing in silk florals and organza that she personally dyed, Thea created some of the most beautiful flower crowns we’ve ever seen!

Thea shares: My special project this year was creating a small collection of silk flower crowns made from organza that I personally hand dyed. I have been very interested in the idea of creating my own patterns and also being sustainable in my work. I took a dying class this past summer from a prominent natural dye artist in Brooklyn and learned how to use flower petals to color my silks.

The two pieces, Aja and Sabina, are both made from organza I dyed with flowers from my garden and then took to my silk flower artisan to craft into life-like flowers.
